CORSO DI FORMAZIONE PER DOCENTI DI LINGUE STRANIERE


Il corso intende offrire agli insegnanti di lingue straniere (madrelingua e non) le competenze necessarie per poter svolgere con maggiore efficacia l’attività’ didattica e saperla adeguare alle differenti tipologie di utenza.
Ampio spazio viene dato all’attività’ operativa, per la quale e’ prevista una partecipazione attiva dei corsisti. Sono realizzate esercitazioni pratiche, come simulazione di attività didattiche, uso e costruzione di materiali, analisi di testi e la preparazione di micro-lezioni o lezioni da tenere in corsi veri e propri.

Durata: 20 ore divise in cinque incontri di quattro ore ciascuno.

  • Strategie e tecniche per lo sviluppo delle seguenti abilità:PARLATO
  • La riparazione dell’errore
  • Verifica, valutazione, certificazione delle competenze 
  • Uso delle glottotecnologie nell’insegnamento delle lingue straniere
  • Modelli operativi di analisi e produzione di materiale didattico


Training course for English language teachers

This course is intended for those without previous experience who wish to enter the profession and for teachers with no previous training in this field. The course is essentially practical in nature and is assessed continuously. Trainees are also expected to work outside course hours in order to plan teaching practice classes.
Entry requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 and must have an awereness of language and a competence in English, both written and spoken, that enables them to undertake the course and prepare for teaching a range of levels.

Dealing with multiple intelligences

This course covers the following syllabus

Teaching Grammar
Teaching Vocabulary

Teaching Speaking and Listening
Teaching Pronunciation
Using Resources and Material
Assessing Students’ progress
Cambridge Examinations

Course lenght:
30 hrs (teaching practice included) for each level.

Cambridge University - TKT Examination Preparation Course

To prepare students for the Cambridge TKT examination To give students a strong foundation in the core areas of teaching knowledge needed in the English language Teaching classroom. To improve students’ overall level of English.
Entry requirements:
Applicants need to be at a level equivalent to or above Aspect Intermediate level, ALTE level B1 or IELTS 4.5.
Target groups:
  • Pre service teachers
  • Teachers who wish to refresh their Teaching knowledge
  • Content and structure

    General English Component (30hrs)
    The General English courses use communicative English language teaching techniques to concentrate on the four skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing. There is also a focus on vocabulary development and pronunciation, in conjunction with practice and extension of grammatical structures.

    Teacher Training and TKT preparation Component. (40 hrs)
    Students cover 3 main syllabus areas
    1) Language and the background to language learning and teaching.
    2) Lesson planning and use of resources for language teaching.
    3) Managing the teaching and learning process.

    Resources:
    For the General English component the materials are as given for this course, appropriate to the level.
    For the teacher Training and TKT component extensive use is made of published EFL textbooks and supplementary materials.
    In addition, ELT journals and magazines are used, as well as videos of lessons, and some classroom observations.
